About Lakeview

Lakeview Elementary is the educational home for 350 students in grades 4K through 5th grade.

In May 2018, Lakeview was recognized by the state of Wisconsin as a "Beating the Odds" school, a Wisconsin Title 1 School of Recognition.  The 87 statewide schools that received the designation of "Beating the Odds"
• are in the top 25% of high poverty schools in the state
• have above-average student achievement in reading and math when compared to schools from similarly sized districts, schools, grade configurations, and poverty levels.
Principal's Message:

Lakeview is a great place to learn and grow!  This is my 22nd year in education and I have been a South Milwaukee "Rocket" for 17 of those years.
Lakeview is known for:
• High expectations for students
• Strong relationships with students and families
I am proud to serve with the amazing educators at Lakeview.

Mr. Sepersky and his wife have 3 daughters.

Mr. Sepersky's favorite quote is this:
"A bird does not sing because it has an answer; it sings because it has a song!"
(Joan Walsh Anglund)  As families and educators, we are working together to help every child find his or her song to sing in life.  At Lakeview, that means we
• Nurture students' natural curiosity and excitement for learning,
• Ensure that students develop a firm foundation of basic skills and knowledge,
• Teach students to be effective information gatherers, problem solvers, decision makers, and communicators,
• Promote, by example and instruction, our district-focused character traits of respect, responsibility, kindness, honesty, and perseverance,
• Provide a safe, supportive, and creative environment for students and staff.

Together, we make a difference!
